Everyone involved with the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational was relieved to see Louis Oosthuizen tee up in the first round after the 2010 Open Champion was involved in a nasty car accident in Akron.
The 28 year old South African was in the back seat of a vehicle driven by his caddie when they were hit by another vehicle which had run a stop sign.
Oosthuizen went to hospital to get checked out but, thankfully, there were no major problems and he was able to play the tournament, showing signs of recovery on the golf course too - coming home in 32 to salvage a one over par 71 after having reached the turn in four over par 39.
